विश्वभरिका सन्तहरूले कोरियामा बाइबलको सत्यता अध्ययन गर्न सकून् र माता परमेश्वरको प्रेमलाई अनुभव गर्न सकून् भन्ने हेतूले परमेश्वरको मण्डली विदेशी सन्त भ्रमण टोली कार्यक्रम सुरु गरिएको हो । कोरियाचाहिँ नयाँ करारको सुसमाचार र परमेश्वरको मण्डली पुनर्स्थापना भएको ठाउँ हो । यो कार्यक्रम विश्वभरिका परमेश्वरको मण्डलीका सन्तहरूका लागि तीर्थयात्रा हो भन्न सकिन्छ । यो कार्यक्रम एक हप्तादेखि १५ दिन जतिसम्म जारी रहन्छ । सन् २००१मा उत्तर अमेरिकाबाट पहिलो चोटि विदेश भ्रमण टोलीले कोरियाको भ्रमण गरेदेखि कोभिड-१९ महामारी सङ्क्रमण कालसम्म कुल ७५ वटा टोलीले कोरियाको भ्रमण गरेका छन् ।[१]
भ्रमणको अवधिमा, विदेशी सन्तहरूले नयाँ यरूशलेम फान्ग्यो मन्दिर, ओग्छन गो एन्ड कम प्रशिक्षण प्रतिष्ठान र एलोहिम प्रशिक्षण प्रतिष्ठानमा विभिन्न कोणबाट बाइबलका सत्यताहरू अध्ययन गर्दछन् । शिक्षा र निर्देशनद्वारा सन्तहरूले आफ्नो विश्वासलाई अझ गहिरो बनाउँछन् र बाइबलीय ज्ञानलाई फराकिलो पार्छन् । उनीहरू ग्लोबल बाइबल गोष्ठी जस्ता विभिन्न कार्यक्रमहरूमा सहभागी हुँदै कोरियाली सन्तहरूसँग अन्तर्क्रिया गर्छन् र राष्ट्रिय सीमालाई पार गरेर मित्रता गाँस्छन् । देशभित्रका केही स्थानीय मण्डली र प्रसिद्ध ठाउँहरूको भ्रमणद्वारा कोरियाको इतिहास र संस्कृति अनुभव गरेपछि सन्तहरूले कोरियामा सिकेका कुराहरू आफ्नो देशमा फर्केर गई अरूहरूसित साझा गर्छन् ।[२]

सन् २०००को प्रारम्भतिर विदेशी सन्त भ्रमण टोली कार्यक्रम गठन गरियो । त्यो समयमा, विदेश मिसनद्वारा धेरै देशहरूमा परमेश्वरको मण्डली स्थापना भयो । सन् १९९९मा विदेशी सन्तहरूले पहिलो पटक कोरियाको भ्रमण गरेकाले[३] परमेश्वरको मण्डली स्थापना भएका सबै देशका सन्तहरूबाट प्रधान कार्यालयमा अनुरोधको ओइरो लाग्न थाल्यो । उनीहरूको उद्देश्यचाहिँ नयाँ करारको सत्यता र सुरुको मण्डलीको विश्वास पुनर्स्थापन भएको कोरियाको भ्रमण गर्नु र आफ्नो विश्वासलाई अझ सुदृढ पार्नु थियो ।

“यरूशलेमको महिमा सारा संसारमा चम्कँदा, टाढाबाट मानिसहरू भेला भएर ढुकुरझैँ आफ्नो गुँडमा उडेर आउनेछन्” भन्ने बाइबलको अगमवाणीजस्तै[४] विश्वका धेरै सन्तहरूले कोरियाको भ्रमण गरेका छन् । ख्रीष्टियानहरूले धार्मिक स्वतन्त्रताको लागि नयाँ संसारको खोजी गरेका उत्तर अमेरिका र क्यानाडा, त्यसै गरी क्याथोलिक मण्डलीको उद्गमस्थल रहेको यूरोपको जर्मनी, फ्रान्स र स्पेन, त्यसै गरी एसियामा नेपाल र जापान, अनि अफ्रिकामा दक्षिण अफ्रिका, जिम्बाब्वे, मोजाम्बिक र सेशल्स, अनि दक्षिण अमेरिकामा पेरु, मेक्सिको र अर्जेन्टिना, अनि ओसिनिया महादेशमा अस्ट्रेलिया र न्यूजिल्यान्ड गरेर विश्वभरिका ८० वटाभन्दा बढी देशहरूबाट सन्तहरू कोरिया भ्रमणमा आए । केही देशका सन्तहरूलाई त कोरियासम्म आइपुग्न करीब ३ दिन लाग्छ ।[५] विश्वभरिका सन्तहरूले समय र पैसा खर्च गरेर कोरियाको भ्रमण गर्नुको कारणचाहिँ बाइबलको गवाहीअनुसार पिता परमेश्वर र माता परमेश्वर आउनुभएको पवित्र भूमि नै कोरिया भएकोले गर्दा हो । यो एक ऐतिहासिक केन्द्र हो, जसले सारा विश्वमा नयाँ करारको सुसमाचार फैलाउने निर्णायक भूमिका खेल्दछ ।[६]
परमेश्वरको मण्डलीका विदेशी सन्तहरूले थोरै समयको लागि नै भए पनि ‘अगमवाणीको भूमि’को तीर्थयात्रा गर्छन्, विश्वासको मातृभूमि कोरियामा स्वर्गीय मातासित दर्शनभेट गर्छन्, र उहाँको प्रेम प्रत्यक्ष रूपमा सिक्दछन् । कोरियाको भ्रमण गरेका विदेशी सन्तहरूले, परमेश्वरको मण्डलीको ऐतिहासिक सङ्ग्रहालय र स्थानीय मण्डलीको भ्रमण गर्छन्, र मण्डलीको प्रगतिको अवलोकन गर्दै बाइबलका अगमवाणीहरूको पूर्णतालाई प्रत्यक्ष महसुस गर्छन् ।

  • काइ हर्टिङ (जर्मनी) : “म परमेश्वरको प्रेमलाई प्रत्यक्ष अनुभव गर्न कोरियामा आएको हुँ । मैले मेरा प्रश्नहरूको स्पष्ट उत्तर परमेश्वरको मण्डलीमा बाइबलद्वारा पाएकोले यो मण्डलीमा सत्यता छ भन्ने कुरामा म विश्वस्त भएँ ।”
  • जेमी लाजो(संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका): “नयाँ करार ग्रहण गरेदेखि मैले बोकेको सपना भनेकै कोरिया भ्रमण थियो । (यसपालिको भ्रमणद्वारा) म स्वर्गीय मातालाई दर्शनभेट गरेर उहाँको प्रेम सिक्न, र नम्र हुन चाहन्छु । अनि आफ्नो देश फर्केर त्यो प्रेम धेरै मानिसहरूसित बाँड्न चाहन्छु ।”[७]

कार्यक्रम

परमेश्वरको मण्डली विदेशी सन्त भ्रमण टोली कार्यक्रम कोभिड-१९ महामारीअघिसम्म सक्रियतापूर्वक जारी थियो । प्रत्येक भ्रमणमा भिन्न संस्कृति र भाषाका करीब १०० देखि ३०० जना सन्तहरू कोरियामा आउँदछन् । परमेश्वरको मण्डलीको प्रधान कार्यालयबाट आयोजित शैक्षिक गोष्ठी, स्थानीय मण्डलीहरूको भ्रमण र सांस्कृतिक भ्रमणजस्ता विभिन्न कार्यक्रमहरूमा उनीहरू सहभागी हुन्छन् ।

शिक्षा तथा कार्यक्रम

विदेशी सन्तहरूले ओग्छन प्रशिक्षण प्रतिष्ठानमा बाइबलको सत्यता सिक्दछन् ।

विदेशी सन्त भ्रमण टोलीको तालिकाको ठूलो हिस्सा नै सत्यतासम्बन्धी शिक्षा हो । सन्तहरूले कोरियाको ओग्छन गो एन्ड कम प्रशिक्षण प्रतिष्ठान, दोङबेग प्रशिक्षण प्रतिष्ठान र नयाँ यरूशलेम फान्ग्यो मन्दिरमा बाइबलका वचनहरू जोशका साथ अध्ययन गर्छन् । उनीहरूले विश्वासी जन भएअनुरूप आफूले लिनुपर्ने मनस्थिति र स्वभाव पनि सिक्दछन् ।[८] शिक्षाचाहिँ अङ्ग्रेजी, स्पेनी, जापानी, फ्रान्सेली, कम्बोडियाली, श्रीलङ्काली र तेलुगु आदि प्रत्येक देशको आधिकारिक भाषामा अनवरत रूपमा सञ्चालन गरिन्छ । अन्य भाषाहरूचाहिँ भाषा अनुवादको दक्षता भएका स्थानीय मिसनरीहरू र सन्तहरूले अनुवाद गर्छन् ।

भ्रमण टोलीका सन्तहरूले कोरियाली सन्तहरूसँग अन्तर्क्रिया गर्न सक्ने भएकाले कार्यक्रमको अवधिमा पनि सन्तहरू धेरै प्रभावित हुन्छन् । विभिन्न अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय बाइबल गोष्ठी, सम्मेलन र विदेशी भाषा बाइबल प्रस्तुति प्रतियोगितामा सहभागी भएर उनीहरूले सिमाना, भाषा र संस्कृतिलाई पार गर्दै एक-अर्कासँग अन्तर्क्रिया गर्छन् ।[९] सन् २००३को देगु ग्रीष्म युनिभर्सियाडमा, उनीहरूले कोरियाका सन्तहरूसँगै औरा समर्थकको रूपमा सक्रिय सहभागिता जनाउँदै विश्वभरिका मानिसहरूसँग मित्रता गाँसे ।[१०] सन् २०१९मा आन साङ होङज्यूको जन्मको १०१औँ वार्षिकोत्सवको उपलक्ष्यमा, संस्कृति र कलाकारिताको क्षेत्रमा कुशल भएका सन्तहरू संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका, पेरु, मेक्सिको, युक्रेन, मङ्गोलिया, नेपाल, दक्षिण अफ्रिका लगायत अन्य देशबाट आएर कोरियाको भ्रमण गरे । ओग्छन गो एन्ड कम प्रशिक्षण प्रतिष्ठानमा आयोजित यस कार्यक्रममा सन्तहरूले भविष्यको लागि सद्भावपूर्ण विश्व गाउँ निर्माण गर्ने आशा बोकेर परम्परागत वाद्यवादन, लोक गीत र क्वार्टेट(४ जनाको संयुक्त गायन) जस्ता विभिन्न प्रस्तुतिहरू अगि बढाए ।[११][१२]

  • बिल्ली आहियो(न्यू जिल्यान्ड) : “यति स्पष्ट सत्यता र यस्तो महान् प्रेम मैले अघि कहिल्यै पाएको थिइनँ । जब मैले सत्यता ग्रहण गरें, तब सत्यता पाएकोमा, अनि पिता परमेश्वर र माता परमेश्वरलाई चिन्न पाएकोमा म एकदमै खुशी भएँ ।”[१३]
  • माइकल केन्ट मिलर (संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका): “भिन्न देश, भाषा र संस्कृतिका मानिसहरू एकै मनमा मिलेका देखेर म एकदमै प्रभावित भएँ । नव वर्षमा माताको प्रेमको शिक्षाद्वारा विश्वभरिका सबै मानिसहरू एकताबद्ध भई सबैमा खुशी छाउनेछ भनी आशा गर्दछु ।”[११]

विदेशी सन्तहरूले कोरिया भ्रमण गर्न आउँदा, उनीहरूलाई सुसमाचारमा सकारात्मक प्रभाव छोडेका केही मण्डलीहरू र प्रशिक्षण प्रतिष्ठानहरूतिर पनि भ्रमण गराइन्छ । जसमध्ये केही ठाउँहरू यस प्रकार छन् : विदेशी सन्त भ्रमण टोलीलाई स्वागत गर्ने पहिलो मण्डली, सउल ग्वानाग परमेश्वरको मण्डली; नयाँ करार सुसमाचारको जग बसालिएको ठाउँ, इन्छन नाग्सम परमेश्वरको मण्डली; यसै गरी विभिन्न ऋतुमा सुन्दर परिदृश्यहरूको अवलोकन गर्न सकिने एलोहिम प्रशिक्षण प्रतिष्ठान ।[१४] साथै सन्तहरूले स्थानीय मण्डलीमा आयोजित ‘हाम्री आमा’ लेख तथा तस्वीर प्रदर्शनी र ‘बुबाको साँचो मन’ प्रदर्शनी अवलोकन गरेर परिवारको प्रेमलाई याद गर्ने समय पनि लिए ।[१५][१६]

  • आनारिस्बेथ गार्सिया (संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका) : “कोरियाली सन्तहरूले आफ्नो हात हल्लाएर हामीलाई उज्यालो मुस्कानमा स्वागत गर्नुभयो । पिता परमेश्वर र माता परमेश्वरका सन्तान हामीहरू साँच्चै नै स्वर्गीय परिवार हौं भन्ने कुरा मलाई पुनः महसुस भयो । किनकि हामीहरू एउटै मनद्वारा प्रेम र खुशीमा एकताबद्ध थियौं ।”[१७]

Korean Culture Experience

Many of the overseas members did not know much about Korea or visited the country until they came to the Church of God.[१८] The church organizes programs that can help members see the beauty of Korea through nature, history, culture, and architecture.

Overseas members of the Church of God have participated in various activities such as learning Korean etiquette, writing Korean alphabet, and learning gayageum (a traditional Korean plucked zither) by visiting historical landmarks such as Gyeongbokgung Palace, the main palace of the Joseon dynasty, Changdeokgung Palace, which is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Hwaseong Fortress in Suwon. High-tech industrial complexes such as Pangyo New Town and Songdo International City, N Seoul Tower, and Lotte World Tower are places that let others see Korea’s remarkable growth achieved in a short period of time.[६] Members from all over the world have expressed their excitement after visiting the Presidential Residence, the National Assembly Building, the Independence Hall, and the Seoul Museum of History to understand Korea’s history. They also enjoyed visiting the Church of God History Museum to see the history of the Bible and the development of the church.[१९] The members from inland countries experienced the sea for the first time at the Coastal Wharf in Incheon and Wangsan Beach.[२०][२१]

The Global Bible Seminar is an event where members from various countries, who are engaged in various fields such as space engineering, biology, law, and accounting, gather together to illuminate the existence of God the Mother through their specialized knowledge and the Bible. At the seminar, the Church of God members and people who were interested in the Bible shared their understanding of God the Creator’s providence of salvation contained in the principles and laws of the world.[२३][२४]

Now we need to focus on understanding the source of eternal life here. All life is given by mothers. . . . It is the will of God the Creator that a mother is the life-giving being. . . . The source of eternal life of the soul that mankind should seek is Heavenly Mother. The most precious gift I have received is the realization of Heavenly Mother’s love. I am most proud of the fact that I am Her child.”[२२]

Over the years, the size and scope of the overseas visiting groups have grown, and the Church of God began to work together with members from each country to discuss practical ways to share happiness with mankind.

In 2019, the overseas pastoral staff came to Korea to attend the General Assembly, and discussed together with the Korean pastoral staff the role of the church and ways members and citizens can build a happy family life.[२९] The 74th Overseas Visiting Group consisted of workers who visited Korea during their time off. During the trip, they shared their experiences and opinions on attitudes and actions that Christians and workers should practice.[१७]

At the 2019 Worldwide University Student Leadership Conference, university students from 41 countries established a vision as the global leaders of the next generation and built friendships beyond languages and cultural differences. At the ASEZ Global Summit, which was held during the period of the Conference, representatives from each continent shared the current status of major crimes in their continent and established a joint resolution to lower crime rate and lead the movement from their respective campuses.

Achievements of the Overseas Visiting Group Program

The Church of God Overseas Visiting Group program becomes a special turning point of faith for the members around the world. Through the program, they see the footsteps of Christ who came from the east and restored the truth in accordance with the prophecies of the Bible, and experience God the Mother’s perfect love firsthand. This brings confidence and enthusiasm to the faith of the members. In today's society where individualism is prevalent, members cultivate true faith and good character with the love they have received from God and contribute to family reconciliation, social development, and harmonizing communities.[३१]

Overseas members, who have different nationalities, languages, cultures, and ages, expand their view on life by experiencing a new culture together. Some members are greatly moved by the culture to respect the elderly, and they teach their children Korean etiquette.

The Korean members set a good example by serving the overseas members as helpers with Mother’s heart throughout their visit. They help by serving as translators, driving members to different locations, and ensuring the lodging is well-equipped with everything visitors will need.[३२] Carrie Song from Albany, U.S., said, “I will put everything learned through Korean members into practice from small details to big things, such as Mother’s love and concern, and kindness and care.”[३३][६]

The overseas members, who experienced the love of God the Father and God the Mother and united as a family with other members during their trip, returned to their home countries and took the lead in building unity and increasing happiness among people in the world. Based on the lessons learned in Korea, they try their best to show love every day with an altruistic mind. There are a number of people who realized the love of Christ and received the truth through the good deeds of the members as well as the truth of the new covenant.

  • Youssef Pena (graduate student at Ana G. Méndez University, Puerto Rico): “I heard that Koreans have good manners and listen to others well. I really think so! I want to learn good habits such as Korean greeting etiquette, respect for the elderly, and humility.”[३५]
  • James Snazel (professor, U.K.): “Until I learned the gospel of the Church of God, I was the typical example of modern-day English people, who tend to be more individualistic and run toward greater honor, success, and a comfortable retirement. I feel joyful just by doing worthwhile work for the world with the church members. I take great pride in being a member of the Church of God.”[२२]
