Regarding the second coming of Jesus, the Bible prophesies that the Son of Man will come in the clouds with power and great glory. That is why most Christians are looking forward to Jesus Christ coming in glory in the clouds of the sky, believing that He will judge the world right away when He comes again.
The Old Testament prophesied about the coming of the Messiah before Jesus was born: "One like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven, was given authority, glory and sovereign power." However, Jesus did not come with the clouds of heaven but was born into this world as a child. The prophecy of Jesus’ second coming in the clouds does not mean that He will come in the clouds of the sky, but in the form of a man.

दोस्रो आगमनका येशूज्यूको सन्दर्भमा बाइबलमा, मानिसको पुत्र शक्ति र महा-महिमासाथ बादलमा आउनुहुनेछ भनेर अगमवाणी गरिएको छ । त्यसैले अधिकांश ख्रीष्टियानहरूले येशूज्यू आकाशका बादलहरूमा सवार भई महिमासाथ आउनुहुनेछ र तुरुन्त संसारको इन्साफ गर्नुहुनेछ भनी विश्वास गर्दै उहाँको दोस्रो आगमनलाई पर्खिरहेका छन् । येशूज्यू जन्मनुअघि नै पुरानो करार बाइबलमा, मसीह आउनुहुने बारे “आकाशका बादलका साथ आइरहनुभएको मानिसको पुत्रलाई अधिकार, महिमा र सार्वभौमिक शक्ति दिइयो” भनेर अगमवाणी गरिएको थियो । यद्यपि येशूज्यू आकाशको प्राकृतिक बादलमा आउनुभएन तर बालकको रूपमा यो संसारमा जन्मनुभयो । येशूज्यू दोस्रो पल्ट बादलमा आउनुहुनेछ भन्ने अगमवाणीले उहाँ आकाशको प्राकृतिक बादलमा नभएर मानिसको रूपमा आउनुहुने कुरालाई जनाएको हो ।

Appearing of Jesus Christ

Before the birth of Jesus Christ, the Old Testament described God who would appear in this world, in various ways; the mighty One who destroys the earth with fire, the Son of Man coming with the clouds of heaven, a child, and the shepherd. God came into the world 2,000 years ago, in the form of a man named Jesus.

येशू ख्रीष्टको जन्म हुनुअघि यो संसारमा आउनुहुने परमेश्वर विभिन्न स्वरूपमा आउनुहुनेछ भनेर पुरानो करार बाइबलमा अगमवाणी गरिएको थियो : आगोले पृथ्वीलाई नाश गर्नुहुने सर्वशक्तिमान् व्यक्ति, आकाशका बादलमा आउनुहुने मानिसको पुत्र, एक जना बालक, गोठालो आदि । २,००० वर्षअघि परमेश्वर येशू नाउँ लिएर मानिसको रूपमा आउनुभयो ।

Prophecies of the Bible

The prophet Isaiah foretold that the voice of one calling would appear and prepare the way for the LORD, and that the LORD would come into the world with power.

यशैया अगमवक्ताले, कसैले बोलाइरहेको आवाज सुनिन्छ र उसले परमप्रभुको निम्ति बाटो तयार पार्नेछ र परमेश्वर शक्तिसाथ आउनुहुनेछ भनेर अगमवाणी गरे ।

अग्निमय रथमा स्वर्ग उठाइलगिएका एलिया

A voice of one calling: “In the desert prepare the way for the LORD; make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God. . . . And the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it.” . . . See, the Sovereign LORD comes with power, and his arm rules for him.

Isaiah 40:3–11

The one who prepares the way for the LORD indicates Elijah. Elijah was a prophet who stood against Baal worshipers in the days of King Ahab of the Kingdom of Israel. He went up to heaven on a chariot of fire in a whirlwind.
When Daniel prophesied about God who would be born as a man, he said a son of man would come with the clouds of heaven.

परमप्रभुको बाटो तयार गर्ने व्यक्तिले एलियालाई जनाउँछ । एलियाचाहिँ इस्राएल देशका राजा आहाबको पालामा बाल देवता पूजकहरूको विरुद्धमा खडा भएका अगमवक्ता थिए । तिनी आँधीबेहरीमा अग्निमय रथमा स्वर्ग उठाइलगिएका थिए ।

जब दानिएलले मानिसको रूपमा जन्मनुहुने परमेश्वरको विषयमा अगमवाणी गरे, तब तिनले मानिसको पुत्र आकाशका बादलमा आउनुहुनेछ भने ।

“In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. He was given authority, glory and sovereign power [a kingdom, KJV].”

Daniel 7:13–14

Two thousand years ago, the Jews knew that Elijah would come first before the Messiah came. They believed that Elijah would come down from heaven on a chariot of fire and prepare the way for the Messiah who would come in the clouds of heaven to judge the wicked. However, the prophecy was fulfilled completely contrary to their expectations.

Fulfillment of the Prophecy

बालकको रूपमा जन्मनुभएका येशू ख्रीष्ट

Elijah, who was prophesied in the book of Isaiah, was born in the name of John (the Baptist) and prepared the way for the LORD by crying out for repentance in the Jordan River. People did not recognize John the Baptist, who was carrying out the mission of Elijah, and treated him indiscreetly. Because they did not know that John was Elijah, they could never recognize Jesus, the Messiah who came after him.

यशैयाको पुस्तकमा अगमवाणी गरिएका एलिया (बप्तिस्मा-दिने) यूहन्नाको रूपमा जन्मिए, र तिनले यर्दन नदीमा पश्चात्तापको निम्ति कराउँदै परमप्रभुको बाटो तयार गरे । एलियाको मिसन लिएर आएका बप्तिस्मा-दिने यूहन्नालाई मानिसहरूले चिन्न नसकी तिनीसित दुर्व्यवहार गरे । यूहन्ना नै एलिया हुन् भन्ने कुरा थाहा नभएकोले तिनीहरूले येशूज्यूलाई यूहन्नापछि आउनुभएका मसीहको रूपमा चिन्न सकेनन् ।

God Jehovah, who was prophesied to come with power, was born as a child named Jesus and was baptized by John the Baptist. The book of Daniel says that the son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven, was given authority, glory, and sovereign power (a kingdom, KJV). It is Jesus who received authority, glory, and sovereign power from God in the New Testament times.

शक्तिसाथ आउनुहुनेछ भनी अगमवाणी गरिनुभएका यहोवा परमेश्वर येशू नाउँमा बालकको रूपमा जन्मनुभयो, र बप्तिस्मा-दिने यूहन्नाबाट बप्तिस्मा लिनुभयो । दानिएलको पुस्तकमा, बादलमा आउनुहुने मानिसको पुत्रलाई अधिकार, महिमा र सार्वभौमिक शक्ति(राज्य, KJV) दिइयो भनिएको छ । नयाँ करारको समयमा परमेश्वरबाट अधिकार, महिमा र राज्य पाउनुभएका व्यक्ति येशूज्यू हुनुहुन्छ ।

• Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” (Matthew 28:18)
• तब येशू तिनीहरूकहाँ आएर भन्नुभयो, “स्वर्ग र पृथ्वीमा समस्त अधिकार मलाई दिइएको छ ।” (मत्ती २८:१८)
• “All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them.” (John 17:10)
• “मेरा सबै जे छन् तपाईंका हुन्, र तपाईंका जे छन् मेरा हुन् । मेरो महिमा तिनीहरूमा प्रकट भएको छ ।” (यूहन्ना १७:१०)
• “And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me.” (Luke 22:29)
• “जसरी मेरा पिताले मलाई एउटा राज्य दिनुभयो, म पनि तिमीहरूलाई दिन्छु” (लूका २२:२९)

Jesus, who was to come with the clouds of heaven, did not come with the clouds of the sky. Christ was born through the body of the Virgin Mary before the Jews knew it, and He taught the word of God in the temple as an ordinary man who had nothing desirable. Eventually, the Jews rejected Jesus and crucified Him. They are still waiting for the coming of Elijah and the Messiah.

‘आकाशका बादलमा आउनुहुनेछ’ भनिएका येशूज्यू, साँच्चैको आकाशको बादलमा सवार भएर आउनुभएन । यहूदीहरूलाई थाहा हुनुअघि नै ख्रीष्ट, कन्या मरियमको शरीरद्वारा जन्मनुभयो, र उहाँले मन्दिरमा एक आम मानिसको रूपमा परमेश्वरको वचन सिकाउनुभयो । अन्ततः यहूदीहरूले येशूज्यूलाई इन्कार गरेर क्रूसमा टाँगे । तिनीहरू अहिले पनि एलिया र मसीहको आगमनको प्रतीक्षामा छन् ।

How Does Jesus Appear a Second Time?

Today, too, the expectation people have about the second coming of Christ is not different from that the Jews had 2,000 years ago. Most Christians believe that at His second coming, Jesus will come in the clouds with power and great glory and with thousands of angels, thinking of the scene where Jesus ascended from the Mount of Olives. They also believe that as soon as He comes as the Last Judge, He will judge the world and lead the saints who will be saved to heaven.

वर्तमान समयमा मानिसहरूले सोच्ने ख्रीष्टको दोस्रो आगमनको स्वरूपचाहिँ २,००० वर्षअघिका यहूदीहरूले सोचेका ख्रीष्टको स्वरूपभन्दा केही फरक छैन । अधिकांश ख्रीष्टियानहरूले येशूज्यू जैतूनको डाँडाबाट स्वर्ग उचालिनुभएको दृश्यलाई सोच्दै, दोस्रो आगमनका येशूज्यू पनि शक्ति र ठूलो महिमामा र हजारौँ स्वर्गदूतहरूसाथ प्राकृतिक बादलमा आउनुहुनेछ भनी विश्वास गर्ने गर्छन् । त्यस बेला उहाँ अन्तिम इन्साफका प्रभुको रूपमा आउनुभएर तुरुन्त संसारको इन्साफ गर्नुहुनेछ, र मुक्ति पाउने सन्तहरूलाई स्वर्गतर्फ डोऱ्याउनुहुनेछ भनेर पनि तिनीहरू विश्वास गर्छन् ।

Prophecies of the Bible: Coming in the Clouds

The disciples asked Jesus about the signs of His second coming. Jesus said that He would come in the clouds when He comes again.

चेलाहरूले येशूज्यूलाई उहाँको दोस्रो आगमनका चिन्हबारे सोधे । तब येशूज्यूले उहाँ फेरि आउनुहुँदा बादलमा आउनुहुनेछ भनी बताउनुभयो ।

“At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky . . . . They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.”

Matthew 24:30–31

As for the second coming, it was prophesied that He would come on the clouds just as it was at His first coming. After coming a second time on the clouds, Christ will gather His elect from all directions. Apart from this, there are more prophecies that Jesus will come in blazing fire. When He comes with fire, it is the time for the Last Judgment.

अनि दोस्रो आगमनको सम्बन्धमा भने पहिलो आगमनमा जस्तै उहाँ बादलमा आउनुहुनेछ भनेर अगमवाणी गरिएको छ । ख्रीष्टले दोस्रो पल्ट बादलमा आउनुभएर आफ्ना चुनिएकाहरूलाई चारै दिशाबाट भेला गर्नुहुनेछ । यसका साथै, येशूज्यू अग्निसाथ आउनुहुने विषयका अन्य अगमवाणीहरू पनि छन् । जब उहाँ अग्निसाथ आउनुहुन्छ, तब त्यो नै अन्तिम इन्साफको समय हुनेछ ।

See, the LORD is coming with fire . . . . For with fire and with his sword the LORD will execute judgment upon all men, and many will be those slain by the LORD.

Isaiah 66:15–16

This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction . . . on the day he comes . . . .

2 Thessalonians 1:7–10

Christ who comes a second time on the clouds is different from the Last Judge who comes in blazing fire, in the light of the way, timing, and purpose of appearing. The second coming of Christ is not the time of the Last Judgment. Before the Last Judgment, Jesus Christ comes in the clouds as He did 2,000 years ago and fulfills the gospel work of gathering His people who are to be saved.

बादलमा दोस्रो पल्ट आउनुहुने ख्रीष्ट, अनि बल्दो आगोमा आउनुहुने अन्तिम इन्साफका प्रभु प्रकट हुनुहुने स्वरूप, समय र उद्देश्य बिलकुल फरक छ । ख्रीष्टको दोस्रो आगमन र अन्तिम इन्साफ एकै समयमा हुने होइन । अन्तिम इन्साफअघि ख्रीष्ट २,००० वर्षअघि जस्तै बादलमा आउनुहुनेछ, र मुक्ति पाउने प्रजालाई भेला गर्न प्रचार कार्य गर्नुहुनेछ ।

As it is evident through the fulfillment of the prophecy of Jesus’ first coming, the clouds that Christ comes in is not physical clouds, but human body. There are also verses in the Bible that compare a person in the flesh to the clouds.

येशूज्यूको पहिलो आगमनको अगमवाणीको पूर्णताद्वारा देख्न सकिएजस्तै, ख्रीष्ट सवार भएर आउनुहुने बादलले प्राकृतिक बादललाई नभएर मानव शरीरलाई जनाउँछ । अनि शरीर धारण गरेको मानिसलाई बादलसँग दृष्टान्त गरिएका पदहरू पनि बाइबलमा देख्न सकिन्छ ।

• These men are . . . shepherds who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind. (Jude 1:12)
• ... किनकि यिनीहरू आफ्नै मात्र ख्याल राखी धन्दै नमानी बेसरी खान्छन् र पिउँछन् । तिनीहरू बतासले उडाइलैजाने पानीविनाको बादलसरह छन्, (यहूदा १:१२)

• These men [false Christians] are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. (2 Peter 2:17)

The Bible likens false prophets and false Christians to the clouds without rain and mists. The rain in the clouds represents the water of life. The water of life is the word of God. Therefore, clouds with rain indicates the true prophet in the flesh.
Two thousand years ago, Jesus came with the clouds of heaven, that is, He was born as a man and granted mankind the water of life. As for His second coming too, it was prophesied that He would come in the clouds. This means that He comes in the flesh again to save mankind through the truth of the water of life.

बाइबलमा झूटा अगमवक्ताहरू र झूटा ख्रीष्टियानहरूलाई पानीविनाको बादल र तुवाँलोसँग दृष्टान्त गरिएको छ । बादलमा भएको पानीले जीवनको पानीलाई जनाउँछ । जीवनको पानी भनेको परमेश्वरको वचन हो । तसर्थ झरी भएको बादलले शरीर धारण गरेका साँचो अगमवक्तालाई जनाउँछ । २,००० वर्षअघि येशूज्यू आकाशको बादलमा आउनुभयो । अर्थात् उहाँ मानिसको रूपमा जन्मनुभयो र मानव-जातिलाई जीवनको पानी दिनुभयो । ख्रीष्टको दोस्रो आगमन पनि बादलमा हुनेछ भनेर अगमवाणी गरिएको छ । योचाहिँ जीवनको पानीको सत्यताद्वारा मानव-जातिलाई बचाउन उहाँ फेरि

शरीरमा आउनुहुनेछ भन्ने अर्थ हो ।

ख्रीष्ट दोस्रो पल्ट शरीरमा आउनुको कारण

The truths of the new covenant such as the Sabbath and the Passover that Jesus had established 2,000 years ago, disappeared during the Dark Ages. Although many reformers such as Luther, Calvin, and Zwingli appeared in the 16th century, they could not restore the perfect truth of the early Church. Until today, 500 years after the Reformation, most churches keep men’s commands such as Sunday worship and Christmas.

येशूज्यूले २,००० वर्षअघि स्थापना गर्नुभएको शबाथ र निस्तार-चाड जस्ता नयाँ करारका सत्यताहरू धार्मिक अन्धकारको युगमा लोप भयो । १६औँ शताब्दीमा लुथर, केल्भिन र ज्वीङ्ली जस्ता धर्म-सुधारकहरू त देखा परे, तर तिनीहरूले सुरुको मण्डलीको पूर्ण सत्यतालाई पुनर्स्थापन गर्न भने सकेनन् । धर्म-सुधार भएको ५०० वर्षपछि आजसम्म पनि अधिकांश मण्डलीहरूले आइतबारको सेवा र क्रिसमस जस्ता मानिसको नियम मानिरहेका छन् ।

“I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

Luke 18:8

As Jesus said, there are many people who believe in God, but they do not have faith that deserves salvation If Jesus comes as the Last Judge in this faithless world, no one will be saved.

That is why Jesus comes again to save His chosen people before the judgment. It was prophesied in Daniel 7 that God would come and pronounce judgment in favor of the saints after God’s times and laws were changed. The prophet Micah too prophesied that in the last days God’s people would gather in Zion to receive God’s teachings.

येशूज्यूले भन्नुभएजस्तै परमेश्वरलाई विश्वास गर्ने मानिसहरू धेरै छन्, तर तिनीहरूमा मुक्ति दिलाउने विश्वास भने छैन । यदि विश्वास नभएको यस्तो संसारमा येशूज्यू अन्तिम इन्साफका प्रभुको रूपमा सीधै आउनुभयो भने कसैले पनि मुक्ति पाउन सक्दैन । तसर्थ आफ्ना चुनिएकाहरूलाई बचाउन येशूज्यू इन्साफअघि फेरि आउनुहुन्छ । परमेश्वरका ठहराइएका समय र व्यवस्थाहरू फेरिएपछि, सन्तहरूको पक्षमा इन्साफको घोषणा गरिदिन परमेश्वर फेरि आउनुहुनेछ भनेर दानिएल ७मा अगमवाणी गरिएको छ । मीका अगमवक्ताले पनि अन्तिम समयमा परमेश्वरका प्रजाहरू परमेश्वरको शिक्षा सिक्न सियोनमा भेला हुनेछन् भनेर अगमवाणी गरेका छन् ।

In the last days the mountain of the LORD’s temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and peoples will stream to it. Many nations will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.” The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

Micah 4:1–2

“The mountain of the LORD’s temple” refers to Zion where the temple of God was built. It was written that God Himself would teach His ways in Zion. This is a prophecy that Jesus appears a second time in the last days and teach His people the truth and build their faith.

Jesus comes a second time in the clouds, that is, in the flesh, before the judgment, and He teaches the truth in Zion and leads the chosen people to salvation.

यहाँ ‘परमप्रभुका मन्दिरको पहाड’ले परमेश्वरको मन्दिर निर्माण भएको सियोनलाई जनाउँछ । सियोनमा परमेश्वर स्वयम्‌ले आफ्नो मार्ग सिकाउनुहुनेछ भनिएको छ । योचाहिँ येशूज्यू, अन्त्यको समयमा दोस्रो पल्ट देखा पर्नुहुनेछ र आफ्ना प्रजालाई सत्यता सिकाएर तिनीहरूमा विश्वास रोप्नुहुनेछ भन्ने कुराको अगमवाणी हो । इन्साफअघि येशूज्यू बादलमा अर्थात् शरीरमा दोस्रो पल्ट आउनुहुनेछ, सियोनमा सत्यता सिकाउनुहुनेछ र चुनिएका प्रजालाई मुक्तिमा डोऱ्याउनुहुनेछ भन्ने कुरा हो ।
